      Entretien

Run from this company. Do not walk. Run, and do not even think about giving them your time, or humoring them in their dysfunction. Early January I began the interviewing process for a Client Account Manager role. A phone conversation with HR was the first step before being called in for a formal interview with a few of their managers, who were amazing people. A week or so went by before I was called back in to interview with their senior management, one in particular I found to be fairly rude and off-putting, but I remained cordial. Immediately after, they informed me that this was actually a Sales job, inquired about my Sales history, and stated that although the salary would be very low, you get a certain base amount "just for showing up." This type of language has historically alerted me to a situation in which senior management has a general disdain for paying their employees, and disdain for the employees in general. Another 2 weeks went by before I received the generic email saying they went with another candidate whose "skills more closely matched the position." I was a little bummed after I had devoted weeks of time and mental energy to them to get brushed off like that, but oh well. That's life. Another couple weeks goes by before they email me saying they think I could be a good fit for a Project Manager role. Against my better judgement, I made my pitch via email, and was called in for another interview with the same senior management. So I dressed up and made the hour long trek down there. From the moment I walked in the door, I could feel a certain level of misery in the air. The same people who were so friendly the first time seemed like the wind had been completely taken out of their sails. The same behavior exhibited by the previously mentioned individual was on full display again as he could not be bothered to shake my hand upon starting the meeting. He proceeded with a few basic questions about prior project management history while never making eye contact with me. Between a number of snarky comments, he mentioned that they were "shifting some things around, forming new teams, etc." He could not have been more disinterested in my presence, and I felt like I was a burden at that point, even though they had asked me to come in. After about 10 minutes, I got the "welp, see you later" and he stood up, turned his back to me to erase something off the board, again leaving me hanging on a basic and professional handshake. I left feeling pretty disheartened. Two weeks goes by with no communication again until I reached out to their HR department, who responded with "we've decided not to move forward with this role, sorry it didn't work out." So in conclusion, do not waste your time with these people. They will disrespect your personal presence and your time, all while stringing you along, only to brush you off with 2 sentence email after months of devoting your time to them. You deserve better.
