Applied online directly to Roche and had first round interview in Welwyn. There was nothing hard except for one person kept on putting me off from joining Roche (why are you coming here, your company is amazing) but others were reasonably friendly and amicable. No comms for two weeks and I had to chase up and learnt that my experience was not enough - this is totally silly for a director level job to ask someone to come for what seemed like an informal interview and then be turned down based on experience which they can easily gauge from my CV. Given the seniority of the role, the way HR dealt with this was totally appalling - no common courtesy to let the applicants know of the outcome and I had to chase them for it and no specific feedback was given. This is a small industry and I have no doubt I'll be in a much higher level very soon but the bad taste of Roche will remain with me.

Recruiter reached out. Rescheduled 20 minutes before the call. No problem. Ghosted the second call entirely. No follow up. No explanations. Incredibly unprofessional and not what I would expect from a company like Roche.

Quick, focussed and confidence boosting. Questions were focussed on my experience and the fit to role as well as my understanding of Roche culture. They were very down to earth and non hierarchical

Das Vorstellungsgespräch wurde schnell und effizient vereinbart. Die Kommunikation war klar. Der Abteilungschef hat sich bemüht darum, beiden Seiten Zeit zu geben, sich gegenseitig kennenzulernen.
Allerdings stellten die Manager under der Chef nur sehr wenige Fragen und es gab nur sehr wenige weibliche Führungskräfte. Es gab nur kulturellen Austausch und fast keinen technischen Austausch.
