It took a month from first interview to job offer. Start date was agreed by all involved. The night before the planned start date I received an email to tell me I could not start due to an "internal issue". No further information was forthcoming despite many attempts the following day. Only 3 days later did I receive a vague apology after my pushing it. I gave up a full-time job in a decent company where I had been employed for over 8 years for this shoddy unprofessional behaviour. I have been working for over 20 years in both large multinationals and smaller family owned companies and have never seen this level of unprofessionalism. My advice is stay well away from Roche in San Cugat ( Barcelona). It appears they have no idea what they are doing on the hiring side of things which only makes me suspect more that it is chaos to work for them.
