This review is more about sharing my experience with Robinhood. I started the interview with Robinhood in October 2021. I had 2 rounds of screening, 1 based on behavioral aspect and the other based on product sense. I was given enough prep resource by the recruiter. After I passed those, I got 2 rounds of product sense - case study 0 -1 and hypothetical question (November 2021). I was prepped by the recruiter on what parameters will I be evaluated. I got prompt decision from the recruiter and was told that I would have 2 behavioral rounds as part of onsite. Again, I was prepped on the evaluation criteria. I completed my interviews in early January 2022, and after a week, I was told that I am through and I wuld be moved to team matching phase. The recruiter called me and set my expectations that it may take sometime to get the final offer since we go to the hiring committee only after finding an interested team. After this, things started going downhill. I reached out to the recruiter to understand what is the product org structure, and what teams have headcount but got a superficial answer. 4 weeks go by, with me checking on the recruiter and getting a response that I will know when there is an update. Last week, I reached out to the recruiter and I get a call. I was told that Robinhood has changed their hiring policy and now candidates are submitted to the HC directly. I was rejected because my product sense was weak. Sadly, it took them 4 months to figure that out.
