I received an email a few days after applying for a position saying that they wanted to conduct a phone interview. I was very disappointed with my experience. The recruiter was not energetic, very short with me, and did not represent the culture that is advertised by the company. Instead of getting to know me and asking questions about my experience and about myself, the recruiter was drilling on my future aspirations after I repeated them multiple times. This was very unfortunate, as I checked off many of the requirements and past experience for the position. I hope Robinhood being the start up and upcoming company it is does a better job of the screening process going forward. I also emailed back the recruiter to receive feedback after I was offered to look for opportunities for the future. Unsurprisingly, she did not answer me.
