J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Robinhood
Entretien
Had a brief phone interview to start... and have not heard back (which I do not care about at all).
The interviewer was really unprofessional, TOLD me that she didn't have my resume nor the job description in front of her. It was honestly such a turn off that again I truly don't care If I hear back or not about next steps. The other caveat is that when salary came into question she also couldn't answer. It felt like a huge waste of time, and I am not interested in working somewhere that isn't interested in me. If she was trying to sell the company to me she did a very poor job.
Next time, some tact, professionalism, and genuine interest in your candidate would be appreciated.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The phone screen was very easy as the interviewer didn't really ask any difficult questions.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Robinhood (San Jose, CA) en janv. 2020
Entretien
I applied late December (around New Years) and was contacted by a recruiter the next morning requesting a phone interview. Two weeks later I had another phone interview with the office manager. Both interviews were very short, about 20-30 minutes each. I was asked 3-4 questions in the 2nd interview. The interview questions were easy, but I believe the reason I wasn't selected is that 1) I forgot to explain the impact I would have on the company and why I'm best for the job, and 2) I only pulled examples from one job rather than pulling ones from my other experiences. I was too excited and basically just talked about how I love the company. I'm sad I didn't get the job (but not surprised), however; what makes me the saddest is that I heard back so quickly which is incredibly rare for large, popular companies. I intend on reapplying for Robinhood when relevant opportunities open up! (Menlo Park, CA)
