I really wanted to work with the team. Everyone was nice. I have over 20 years experience and willing to relocate. Took a vacation day and did a 5 hour interview with multiple managers along with a presentation. Everything went smooth until the last manager. He went off on a direction about an obscure comment regarding a part design from 15 years ago. Then asked me for more instances where I failed. Nothing came to mind, I don't have too many failures. In my career I have been laid off, fired, and forced to lay people off. Manager of over 60 staff through covid. Keeping I mind this was an engineer job, not a Manager, so this was a step down I was willing to take to work for this company. I got a call and was informed there was not and offer due to lack of hardship in my career. That was very offensive.
