J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Rippling (San Francisco, CA) en janv. 2026
Entretien
I was interviewed for the Senior Software Engineer position. The interviewer joined a few minutes late with their camera off and appeared unprepared for the call. They interrupted me several times to ask about topics we had already discussed on LinkedIn, which suggested they had not reviewed the prior context.
After the interview portion, they briefly showed a few company slides but did not explain them clearly. There were 2 errors on the slides, which I pointed out. When I asked follow up questions, they were unable to answer them. Overall, the interview felt disorganized and unproductive, and did not make good use of either of our time.
I felt like I was just talking so the AI note taker could get a sense of my experience and make a decision.

1 phone screen followed by 3 onsite rounds - 1 coding, 1 behavioral, and 1 project deep dive. Questions were pretty straight forward and fair. I did not get the offer though since I was out of practice.

Typical process, HR screen then coding round (phone screen). Another coding rounds onsite and a system design. Then a project deep dive and team match.
They allow you to use AI in the coding round, which was strange because its a typical leetcode-style question. Claude was able to one-shot it.
