Initial phone screen. I was somewhat thrown off by how rude and unwelcoming the recruiter was that I spoke to. She was the lead recruiter but very condescending and belittling. I have never ended an initial phone screen call where I felt offended. In the middle of the call when I realized this position/company wasn't a good fit for me (partly because role and but mostly because her attitude) I tried to tell the recruiter and end the call but she kept asking questions anyway. Also seemed very unprofessional and like she didn't know how to handle that situation. This was a terrible experience and honestly has changed the way I look at the company. First impressions are huge and recruiters should essentially be selling their company and trying to get you to WANT to work for the company...not making fun of the candidates life choices. I am beyond pleased that I haven't received a call back because I would never work at a company that allows this behavior...but by the looks of the other reviews there is a definite problem with this recruiter that needs fixing.
