Went through seven + rounds: phone screening with a recruiter, interview with the hiring manager, panel of three interviews with the team, a project round, a founder round, and a final culture fit interview. Very disappointed that we went through all these rounds and I didn’t receive an offer. Perhaps it was because we met the day before the holiday break, but the founder wasn’t very tuned in and attentive during my interview. I didn’t feel like he was listening or cared. He didn’t review my project that I put together and he wasn’t prepared. They tout their people at RSU, but I was not very impressed. They seemed preoccupied during my interview, it took a few pings before I received updates on the progress, and I don’t feel like I was properly assessed on my skill set. Honestly just wasn’t a fit on both sides of the coin. Was an immense waste of my time.
