Started with a phone call with one their Senior engineers about basic SQL, indexing. Pretty easy stuffs. I don't like it when companies make screening so easy and waste your time during onsite.
Onsite was supposed to last 2 hours max but they kept sending people who were totally unprepared to interview me. One even admitted he never read my resume. Unprofessional.
The first and last interviewers were just plain rude. I knew the company wasn't the place for me from the first interviewers' attitude. He would shrug and give half assed almost annoyed answer when I asked clarifications.
I talked to three other interviewers who were nice and were genuinely engaged in back and forth conversations. I felt like they truly wanted to assess my skills and did not give the vibe of "I have better things to do than sitting here".
Overall, this was not the place for me and was a total waste of my time and travel expenses. I expect to work in a respectful environment. For people who can fit, the company is still in the growing startup phase where you can make big impact.
