Hiring manager knows the market is in their favor and takes advantage of all candidates. I wasted 5 hours of my time on this company. Presented a PowerPoint intro of myself, projects I've done, etc. Only to be passed over and not given a reason why until a few days later. Even then, it was a single one-liner. Definitely not a company I'd of wanted to work for.
