Recruiter reached out and shared what sounded like a great opportunity. Very aligned with my background in startups and more technical products. When digging deeper into my experience, she asked about specific tooling and mentioned if not having one, single integration experience wise then it's not a fit. I've worked in product for over a decade, have hired various PMs in my career, and have not had a previous experience where a CPO is so rigid in their criteria. It gives me insight that this function isn't hiring for the correct product skills around being a self starter, naturally curious, and being adaptable (which are key skills for the role).
