The interview process for the product design role was as follows:
1. Remote IQ test and typing test
2. Remote recruiter interview
3. Remote portfolio review
4. In-office panel interview
5. In-office offer meeting
The IQ test was very strange, it has a lot of tricky logic puzzles and some basic algebra. I've never had any other company in my hundreds of applications require this sort of test, and it leaves a bad impression of what the company prioritizes.
I also found some of the personal questions asked in the interviews strange. I'm not sure why we are talking about high school in our interview, I imagine for many individuals this would have been 10+ years ago. Again, it leaves a bad impression.
