Pretty standard interview process of 30min phone screen with basic technical questions on fluid flow and thermo. Then after 3 days or so, they got back to me to schedule a 45min zoom technical interview with 2 senior engineers. About half behavioral and half technical questions. The interviewers were all very nice people that were clearly passionate about what they do, and they were very friendly during the interview.
However the interview seemed disconnected from the role I actually applied to, like I was being interviewed for a different role or something. It was strange. I feel like I hit the stated qualifications pretty well, and answered their questions pretty well, but I got a rejection email 3 days afterward from a person I had never met or spoken with. I guess with hiring freezes and layoffs in other companies they can afford to be very selective in their hiring.
Honestly, good on Relativity though for actually getting back to people with a solid yes/no answer.
