Loved the interviewers. Hated the compensation plan. It’s 100% commission only selling T-Mobile lines. Not much is known about the position until the second interview. After doing some research I found out it’s affiliated with Smart Circle and Cydcor. Google DevilCorp and SlaveCircle and you’ll get the full story.

This interview process is non-traditional so that may catch people who are used to the traditional 3-Step interview process off guard. So I’ll do my best to break it down as well as provide some key issues that may raise some red flags for some people. The Selection Process: There is none. Atleast prior to the interview for reasons I’ll mention in later in this review. As long as you agree to the interview within the traditional 9am-12pm M-F interview time block and have a decent resume you’ll get a call. The First Interview: This is where the interview process becomes non-traditional. If you’ve ever recruited for your own startup or small organization. You’re going to spend the first interview getting to know the person first not the company or position. This is to establish trust and find out if you and the candidate like each other so you can work together. My interview was with Caitlin Carey who is the president and Manager of this establishment. The Second Interview: The second interview went more into detail about the position and the compensation plan. The script flips from both you and the interviewer building a relationship. To you building a case for why you’d be a good fit for the company and the interviewer building a case for why the company would be a good fit for you. The interviewer was Dawn a President from a different company that was in the same network, more on that in a bit. Overall the interview process was pleasant. However I declined the offer due to these issues that set off some major red flags for me. Transparency: There isn’t much told about the position or the company until the second interview. When conducting my research I found the company started in 2018 (fairly new), but the second interviewer said the company had been around for 20 years which was odd but come to find out she was referring the parent company that the organization was a part of. Their website shows that they work with Fortune 500 companies when in reality they work with one and that’s T-Mobile. Compensation: This is a 100% commission only outside sales position. You get paid 200% off every two lines you sell. You are expected to sell 10 lines a week. Not hard but exceedingly tough in this saturated market. A decent opportunity for kids living at home with their parents. A horrible one for the working man or woman that needs a steady and consistent income stream to pay bills or take care of the kids. Culture: Not enough words to go into this but there’s a reason why this company promotes from within. It’s because their compensation plan doesn’t allow it. Their more levels then positions. That may set off some red flags for some that have experience working with multi-level compensation plans or atleast been exposed to them. The parent company of Reign and Lively is a break off company of Cydcor which is a break off company of DS-Max one of the largest direct selling companies in the US at one point. In closing if you’re feeling weird about this company. I’d suggest watching the Slave Circle documentary on YouTube and google DevilCorp. While this isn’t the same company entirely their methods are eerily similar. Not saying that this company is bad but not a company that I would like to work with at this stage of my life.

I was contacted by Reign and Lively after they found my resume on another job site. I couldn't find any information about the company other than their own website, which was a little vague about what they do, and a few reviews on Reddit and such asking for more information. Most of the answers that the author got were not to take the offer and discussing how it sounded like a scam. The first interview is mostly so they can get to know you, but no other information about the position is really brought up. The second interview is more about the position, and they really just want to know that you're looking to grow within a company and are capable of doing the job. I was also told it was a three step interview process, but unless they were counting the brief phone conversation I had with the human resources person, it's really only a two step process. Turns out the position is selling T-Mobile lines as a form of direct marketing. The entry level position of Account Executive is supposed to last somewhere from 2-6 weeks before you're promoted to Leadership, who trains new Account Executives. From there it goes to Assistant Manager, and finally to Manager where you start/run your own company. Overall it kinda sounded like a pyramid scheme. The entire job is 100% commission based, those in more advanced roles bring on new Account Executives, and they really just seem to draw you in with the promise of a high starting pay. They offered me a position a few hours after the second interview with no option to accept or decline, they just said I got the job and orientation was a few days later. I didn't fully trust the process or the company and ultimately declined the offer before orientation and didn't fill out any paper work they sent me. The pay, despite being all commission, seemed too good to be true and it felt like I would just be a sales person for T-Mobile, so not sure why they needed to go through a marketing firm just to sell more lines? Overall the interview was incredibly easy and you really don't need any experience to do the job. All training is provided, although you don't get paid for it until you sell your first line. If you're looking to manage your own branch of a company, then this might be a good fit, but with so little information on the company online, I don't trust the process.
