      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Regional Care Group (Merrillville, IN) en juin 2019

      Entretien

The first interview was a formal, panel interview, with 4-5 interviewers. They were running about 45 minutes behind schedule. All the interviewers in the first interview we awesome - warm, friendly, and kind. They were transparent, and at the end of the interview asked me to come back and meet with the director the following week. My second interview went just as well, and after being offered the position, I went to meet with HR. The representative told me she would only be able to count my experience at 50%, despite all that was listed (and more!) being relevant to the position. After some very brief discussion of salary, I said I would need the weekend to think about it and took the HR rep’s card. I followed up on Monday with the department head I would be working for, who informed me that the rep was on vacation until the following Monday, and to follow up then. I did, and the HR rep informed me she had “discarded” all of my information. I told her I had been in contact with the department head all along, and she replied that she was concerned that if they hired me, I would leave when a better opportunity came along (umm.. okay). I was made to feel like I had to defend and justify myself, even though I had already, formally, been offered the position. The rep said she would touch base with the department head and get back to me. The next morning she called me and said they’d decide to move forward with other candidates in the department. We were in salary negotiations. They had offered me the job, and then rescinded said offer. How incredibly unprofessional. The department head and secretaries were all wonderfully pleasant and delightful. HR was just a hot mess with an office to show for it. Read the reviews for the position, especially the one for a family advocate. It appears I dodged a bullet.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Not really questions, more describing the position and asking for your thoughts. They did ask “why should we pick you?”
