      Had a screening interview with HR followed by a 20 min conversation with the hiring manager, during which time I learned that they were looking for someone with more experience than I had in that particular area. I figured that would be the end of it but they called back and asked me to move forward in the interview process, which consisted of meeting separately with 10 different people in the organization and then doing a 40 min presentation to a panel of 5 people with a Q&A session afterwards. The recruiter called me a week after the promised timeframe to tell me that I didn't get the position. It is nice that they actually do that via a phone call rather than just sending an email, especially after all the time and effort on the part of the applicant. I noticed that the position was reposted again on LInkedIn, so I guess they haven't found their unicorn yet. Seems to me that it would make sense to revamp their process and narrow down candidates by ensuring that they meet all of the must-have requirements before moving them on to the presentation portion of the interview, as that requires quite a bit of time and energy to put together, especially if one is working full time and caring for a family. No reason to put folks through all of that unless they definitely meet the key requirements for the position. Would save time for the hiring team as well. I'd only interview with the company again if I was pretty certain from the discussion with HR and the hiring manager that my skills and background were a perfect match for the position because otherwise it feels like a waste of my time.

      A true indicator of consensus overload culture - 12 interviews with various stakeholders - exhausting and not necessary.. TA does a great job keeping communication lines open throughout the process but it’s clear too many people get to weigh in on a decision that comes down to 1 person . Giving this a positive experience since someone may enjoy meeting with that many people

      Contacted by the recruiter, scheduled a phone call. Then had a phone call with the HM and then silence for more than a month. Checked in twice with the recruiter and only silence. Then 6 weeks later got a response that they went with other candidates within the company.
