I went through one interview round with the Director before deciding to withdraw my application. The overall process was smooth, and both the HR and the Director were professional and easy to engage with. Most of my questions were around work-life balance, and I noticed some hesitation in the responses, which gave me pause. I also observed that 1 of the HR email came in quite late at night, which made me wonder about the company’s overall working culture. After I shared my decision not to continue, HR reached out with a phone call and handled the situation very respectfully. Overall, the interview experience was positive. My decision to withdraw was mainly due to my personal priorities around work-life balance.
