J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Red Ventures (Charlotte, NC) en oct. 2009
Entretien
I originally applied online and was brought in with a group of other people for 3 1on1 interviews. They asked about my past experiences and previous work I had done. I could tell they were intelligent and energetic people.
I was asked back for another round of interviews a week later. It consisted of meeting with 4 more people in more background and case interviews. These were consulting/IBank type interviews. They covered a wide range of thinking as far as estimation and then various math problems that required work in your head and on paper. I was used to this in my other interviewing so it didn't throw me off too much but if you are not used to this then you certainly should look around for examples.
Since I was moving from DC and was in Charlotte for the last set of interviews they invited me back for a 3rd round the next day which was very nice. I met with 4 more people including one of the co-founders. More Case/consulting interviews including some off the wall questions to test thinking on your feet. The last set of interviews was on a Friday and they contacted me that next Tuesday to offer me the position.
It may seem like a lot of interviews but really I think it is good for several reasons. If you like the interview process, you will like it at Red Ventures. It gives you a good understanding of how business is done there and give lots of opportunities for you to interview them as well. It also makes sense to me to have more information. It is harder for 11-12 people to all get/give the wrong impression.
