      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Receptional en sept. 2024

      Entretien

      The initial screening was a positive experience; the company and role were presented well. However, issues arose during the second-stage interviews. I was invited for 2nd stage with the hiring manager, but I left unsure how my experience or the value I could bring to the company will be assessed as they were barely any questions around it. I was told to wait for a face-to-face interview, but after a few days, I received a message saying they were still trying to organise it. Then, without any further communication, I received an automatic email informing me that they would not be proceeding with my application. When I inquired whether the email had been sent in error, the hiring manager confirmed it was correct. I requested feedback but was told none could be provided. At this stage of the process, feedback is essential, and any professional company would offer it. It was concerning that a senior HR member didn't foster a culture of feedback or follow a thorough recruitment process. Candidates invest time and effort in preparation and interviews, so it's vital to treat them with respect.

At Receptional, we deeply value the time and effort that candidates invest in our recruitment process, and we appreciate feedback that helps us improve. Our interview process is designed to assess both a candidate’s ability to excel in the role and their alignment with our culture and values, which are central to who we are as a company. We strive to maintain a respectful and thorough approach at every stage, and we regret that this wasn’t reflected in your experience. We often receive a high number of applications due to the benefits we offer (hybrid/flexible working, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays (increasing by 1 annually), your birthday off, an individual training budget equivalent to 5% of your annual salary, free drinks and snacks, as well as quarterly out of office fun days and other regular social and charity events) which can impact our ability to provide individual feedback to each candidate.
