I applied for 2 positions on their website: Commissions Processor and Transaction Processor. HR decided to lump both applications into 1 interview which I thought was strange but whatever. I went along with it since HR assured me that I was being considered for both roles. Our 10 min phone interview was basic. HR asked how did I hear about the company, why I wanted to work here, what are my salary expectations and to describe my work experience. I asked her a few Q's like what the salary is, how many roles are open for this job, and what the anticipated start date is. The only info she could tell me was that there were 9 job openings. Kinda weird that salary range and start date couldn't be confirmed... but perhaps the hiring manager could tell me the start date, at least that was my line of thinking. The following day, I received an email invite to interview with 2 hiring managers where I could choose my own time slot. Day of interview- I was a little perplexed as to why both managers didn't bother to dress up professionally for our meeting. I understand that most people are WFH and that the dress code is lax which I'm all for! But would it kill you to exchange your hoodies for a button down dress shirt or a nice blouse? I mean, you're representing the company... So right from the get-go, the interview gave me a bad vibe. I could tell that both interviewers didn't want to be there... like I was wasting their time. They were vague in their answers too meaning that they couldn't give me much details about the job itself or anticipated start date or what the next steps were in the hiring process. They simply said, "We don't know." I left the interview feeling uncertain as to what I had walked into. A few days later, I received an email invite to do a skills assessment test, but the link was broken. I notified HR who then sent out a mass email stating that they were aware of the situation and that once the link was fixed then a 2nd email would be sent out. A couple more days later (over the weekend), I received a rejection email for the 2 positions I applied for... I was confused b/c one minute I'm being invited to take an assessment and then the next I'm being rejected? I decided to hold off on responding to HR thinking that it might have been system error. Perhaps I was sent a rejection letter b/c I never completed the assessment, you know? Monday came and went with no followup from HR. On Tuesday, I reached out and received a response saying that the email was not sent in error... that the hiring team decided to move forward with other candidates who better fit the job requirements. What a joke and complete waste of my time. This company is completely unprofessional from start to finish. My advice? Look elsewhere.

This was the weirdest/worst phone screening I have ever had. The recruiter was clearly reading from a script and started the phone screening by going over EVERY job on my resume and asking why I left each job. I have jobs from 2011 on there (they are relevant to the role) and It was very strange to be asked why I left each job from almost 10 years ago. After that, the recruiter asked me very basic questions like how do you deal with conflict in a workplace. She was very wishy washy about the compensation and would not be upfront about how much the role paid/benefits. She seemed offended when she asked if I was looking at other roles. It's covid, of course I am. The recruiter was terrible and within 5 min of the call I knew this was not the company for me.
