      Entretien

Comprehensive phone interview with HR, 45 minutes interview with hiring manager followed by take home assignment then a 4 hour interview loop with 5-6 people including the hiring manager again. While most people were nice to talk to, it was a very interview-y process vs. being more conversational. The interviewers were literally reading scripts and questions on paper - all behavioral situations/questions. It was question, answer, question, answer with little to no commentary or banter in between. I thought this was really strange and old school, it didn't feel authentic or how most other companies conduct interviews. Similar to another review, I was given feedback (which is nice that they offer) that felt inaccurate including one piece that was kinda of offensive to my abilities.

We appreciate the time you took to interview with us, and thank you for sharing your feedback. We want our interviews to feel conversational, but due to time constraints on our lengthier interview loops, that opportunity doesn't always present itself. Our interviewers are given a set list of questions to ask each candidate based on the Behaviors & Operating Principals they are assigned to assess. Our goal is to provide an inclusive and equitable interview process. We have found that asking the same set of questions to all candidates allows for clearer, more equitable comparisons between them. But, it sounds like there may be room for improvement. Regarding the post-loop feedback provided, we are always happy to have a follow-up conversation, especially if you felt the feedback was inaccurate or disrespectful. That was not at all our intention. Our feedback is meant to be constructive, and I sincerely apologize if it was not. If you'd be open to it, I'd love an opportunity to speak with you further to ensure we are more sensitive moving forward.
