It was a single interview with a panel of 2-3 people. They asked me technical questions but no Coding. For this role I believe they look for Java or C++ because they asked me which I was better at

Disorganized and poor experience. EM conducted the interview. Either had a rough day or forgot about the interview because they came in frazzled. Started with "I have some questions..." before remembering to do an introduction and whatnot. Didn't read my resume, but that happens. Some basic HR level questions (elevator pitch of self, what you're looking for, etc) that were fine. Then came the technical questions which were more dicey. Got the impression he was thinking of things on the fly. Pretty specific REST verb questions + specific Java questions (after I had said I haven't used it in a bit over 3 years). Wish they mentioned upfront about the initial call being technical but rolled with it. Things like "Have you used java.util.Collections?" "I don't know, probably. sounds familiar, I'd have to remind myself" "What do you have to override to implement Hashtable in Java" "Uhh, I think hashcode and something else?" Maybe fair questions for someone using the language currently but made me question "why did you agree to interview me?" Next day emailed me to apologize for missing our interview and looking to reschedule? Mixed me up with someone else
