I applied for the position via Raymond James' career website. A week or so after applying, I received a call from a recruiter at the corporate office in Florida and set up a phone interview for the next day. It was a very typical phone interview--about 30 minutes long, and I was asked basic questions about past experience and my salary expectations. An in-person interview with a hiring manager was set up for later in the week at the local office. The in-person interview lasted approximately one hour. It was a relatively relaxed interview environment. The position was explained in detail. After being asked some basic questions about my background, I was asked a lot of hypothetical questions (ex: what would I do if a client called in and was upset about something). I was also many questions geared toward determining how comfortable I would be handling accounts worth large amounts of money. I left the interview feeling confident about my answers and was told I would hear from the recruiter within a few days, who would then explain the next steps in the interview process. After a week had passed without hearing anything, I attempted to get a hold of them to no avail. Ended up never hearing back from the company.
