Had already worked at my location for two years, was promoted from within. Interview was pretty typical, asked a lot of questions about how I would handle the new role with coworkers. Took about a month in total before I officially started after I interviewed.

Entretien
I had to apply online as they no longer do paper application. The application is a little lengthy, but as someone who worked as HR manager for Rave, we don't even bother looking at those questions so it's not too important. I was called on the phone to come in for an interview. I came in about 5 minutes before I was supposed to and waited in the lobby. I was interviewed by an assistant manager in the box office area. She basically held a paper copy of my application and asked me to explain why I wrote the things I did. She looked mostly for my availability. The thing they look for the most is availability on weekends and holidays, especially Christmas, so say yes! Know your favorite movies and be ready to answer ways that you would promote an upcoming movie. You may be given a simple math test like I was. After about 10 minutes of talking I was offered the job and signed a background check release.

There were no really unexpected questions. Most of the questions were just general things about yourself and how you spend your time. The questions are just ways to get you to talk, smile, and show your personality. If you can't be enthusiastic talking about your most favorite things and what you love doing, then you most likely won't be enthusiastic selling $6 popcorn.
