One initial Phone interview with basic questions about background, schooling, job history and desired shifts. They talked about what exactly they do. A follow up zoom call with hiring managers. Testing at the end. Very professional and productive.

The first round of interviews was unusual because there was no technical screening or exploration of my background. Instead, they relied solely on a tool that collected behavioral responses, such as selecting personal skills. Additionally, there was a 12-minute aptitude test with 50 questions that were unrelated to my technical background. The design of this interview format seems flawed, as it may result in missing many suitable candidates. It's also important to understand that troubleshooting in networking requires a thorough understanding of the issue and developing a theory to solve or narrow down the problem. Making decisions instantaneously can lead to significant network disruptions and create larger issues for the company.
