Ramsey has a great recruitment team. I applied and three days later had an email requesting availability for a phone call. I did the call, then had another call to go over a design challenge. Completed the challenge, then had an HR zoom interview to learn more about the company. This was where they covered the culture of Ramsey, and yes, you will get told that Ramsey upholds Christian values for their employees. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. If you don’t share these values, don’t apply. In the end, the design team went with other candidates whose design challenge better fit what they were looking for. I appreciated the phone call from the recruiter to let me know that I wasn’t moving forward but that they still enjoyed getting to know me. Sometimes during the interview process it’s nice to still be treated as human. Ramsey is a hard company to get into but I am proud of how far I made it. I’d rather get cut early than at the last round.
