Cultural fit was considered very important, however this is difficult since the culture seemed to vary per department (e.g. investment bankers vs. cooperative banks). rabobank have gone through the financial crisis pretty well and appear very proud of this. Personally i did not receive a final job offer after 3 rounds of interviews and a corresponding amount of time invested which makes me a bit unhappy about the process. next time i would ask more questions about the process and whether other candidates are internal/external etc.
