Me contactaron a mi email de una base de datos y me dijeron que tenían una oferta que se adaptaba a mi perfil y que si deseaba recibir una llamada para que me contaran un poco más. Recibí la llamada y lo primero que me dijeron era que el rol era full-time y que cuál era mi aspiración salarial, por ello, decidí preguntar las funciones del cargo, tras una muy breve descripción me volvieron a preguntar la aspiración salarial, al decir que no sabía me dijeron que era de menos de 800 USD y básicamente tenía las funciones de un Project Manager. Le indiqué a la persona que me llamó que no se adaptaba a mi aspiración salarial lo ofrecido y me contestó que cuando tuvieran una nueva oportunidad me contactaban. Había leído acá que las personas en esta empresa se sienten con una paga baja y con esta oferta me parece que tienen razón.

RWS posted an ad that they were hiring in Medellin, Colombia so I applied. Was invited to an interview at well known hotel in the area. Met with the two managers (1 flew in from USA and the other from Argentina) and the interview went well. About a week later received an email that the were not moving forward. About 3 months later I get another email from the HR office in Argentina telling me that the last client fell through which is why they didn't move forward but they have a new client they need to hire a project manager and localization lead for. I interviewed again this time virtually over MS Teams first with the HR manager in Argentina then with the program manager in the USA. Interview went very well. I was asked salary expectations which I gave. I was told that they were interested in me but that my salary expectations were too high. Bear in mind that it would be a Colombian contract paid in pesos which would basically be well under $1000 USD. I told them I couldn't accept that since at my last position was was making at least 3 times that so I declined. I was then hired at another agency where I received exactly what I asked for in salary. The last two interviews happened with about 2 weeks of each other.
