Raytheon most likely has a minimum number of applications that must be submitted for a position before they can go forward with an interview, and this applies to internal transfers as well. I applied to two positions and received no responses for them, but did receive emails from two Raytheon recruiters asking me to apply for other positions that I was not a match for, saying many positive things in order to get me to do so. After applying, I never heard back.

The interview process mainly consisted of questions pertaining to your resume and STAR questions. To prep for this interview, I would revise your resume and make sure you know everything about your resume. Moreover, I would practice basic STAR questions.
I applied for this job on company's career portal. I didn't receive any updates about my application for a couple of months. I received an automated email from recruiter stating that my application is being considered for the role. Email has million questions to answer before proceeding to next step. I wasted an hour to compile my answers and replied to that spam email.
As soon as I sent the email, I received an automated email stating that I'm suddenly no longer being considered. It seems like they just want to grab personal data from applicants for marketing and profiling purpose.
I hope they are a bit more transparent in the hiring process rather than discriminating candidates based on public and personal information submitted in applicant profile.

HR Screen, then panel interview. Panel interview consisted of the basic STAR interview process and then technical questions. The interviewers were very polite and helped with answers if I was unable to come up with the correct one. Questions seemed to be more gauged at trying to get an understanding of how much you know and how your thought process works.
