Entretien
I was initially offered 3 choices of dates for the interview and picked the one furthest in the future so as to fit around other interviews. Within hours I received another email from recruitment saying that only one date is available now (not clear why) only 2 days away. There was pitifully little information available on the website about the department the role was going to be in (Transaction Advisory). I was very surprised to see that the interview would be conducted by a sole PA (a second red flag that they are not taking this seriously and are only wasting my time).
During the interview it was said that the job description was "outdated". This left me confused as to what the job I was going for entailed at all. The PA didn't know who had put the job description together and was obviously not otherwise involved with the recruitment process.
In the end, I was rejected on the basis that I had not found out enough about the department so as to see how I can help it...
It was an overall unprofessional picture that emerged here and they somehow have the expectation to get a superhuman in the interview while they have made little to no effort through the recruitment process. I didn't feel respected as a candidate and I probably wouldn't have felt respected as an employee if I had got the job. Some feedback was sent to recruitment but no response was received.
