      I applied on Linkedin Easy Apply and was contacted by HR within a week. Since I had already met with the CEO, she set me up for a phone interview with the hiring manager. I think I still would have appreciated an introductory phone interview with HR. I didn't hear back for more than two weeks, and only found out they moved on with a different candidate when I followed up again.

      Thank you for your thoughtful response. We apologize that it took some time to get back to you. We are typically able to get back to candidates within 1-2 weeks, but due to the number of great candidates that apply and our small hiring team, sometimes that timeline gets extended. Also, it sounds like in this case our CEO was the introductory interview, which is not typical but circumstances can vary depending on how you found out about ROI.       It was a drawn out interview process from the initial HR phone screen, to the team interviews and concluding with the leadership interviews. Overall, the team seemed like a nice group of people with one person seeming rather overwhelmed and not too happy with her new role on the team. The final round of interviews with the leaders is where the process broke down. There was a lack of respect and aggressiveness I had never experienced in all my interviews throughout my career. As they say, the interview process is two-sided and glad this side appeared during the interview process. The office is also in a shared office basement which is not well represented on the website imagery. That wasn't a huge deal but didn't line up with the image portrayed online.

We often have a direct tone to our interviews, but absolutely do not want anyone to feel disrespected or uncomfortable in any way.
