Met with current controller who was moving on to another opportunity, he was a pleasant fellow who I enjoyed meeting with and I felt comfortable discussing the position with him. I have an idea as to why he left. After that met with the founder/owner, it was the most awkward interview of my life. He went into his business story, how he lost everything and built it back up bigger, and if I work for him I will work so hard bc I will be paid so well, and I won't have time for anything but work, but it will payoff in the end, and I will become rich beyond imagination because his company is on the verge of becoming the next Wayfair. I didn't receive an offer because I decided not to have any more contact with the company or the owner.
