Everything was extremely last second and rushed. Was treated badly because I wanted to put in a 2 week notice with my current job. The position with recon was 60 hour weeks in different states for 2 weeks at a time. Pay was $23/hr contracted with border patrol to monitor the wall being built. After constant back and forth and frustration on their end about putting in a 2 week notice, they reluctantly agreed. I asked if pay was negotiable since this is all so last second and would uproot everything for me yet I had no time to consider all my options, and was cut off by HR and told I didn’t deserve more than $23/hr and they would find someone else. If I was treated like that in an “interview” I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like actually working for them
