After submitting an application, an internal recruiter reached out via email prompting me to complete a coding challenge before proceeding to the next interview stages. Unfortunately the questions were very difficult and I wasn’t able to proceed past the coding challenge

Applied online and received message from HR saying they were interested in setting up an interview. First virtual meeting was with a hiring manager and we had a technical and behavioral discussions that assessed me on cultural and background fit (no coding). The second virtual phone screen consisted of coding. I was asked a Leetcode Hard problem, which I later googled, that I believe was not assessing my skills according to the requirements they listed on the page. They ask you to be proficient React and GraphQL but then ask you to find the area covered by all rectangles in the plane. If you are looking specifically for Leetcode Gods that can solve Hard Leetcode problems within 45 minutes, then please include that in your job descriptions. I do not mind Leetcode questions at all, but asking a Hard one within 45 may be a little of a stretch? The interviewer seemed disinterested and just continued doing his thing without trying to engage with me.
