I went through three technical rounds after an initial call with the HR. Despite multiple follow-ups with the HR, I have yet to receive any feedback, positive or negative.
During the interviews, the interviewers would give me a problem and then leave the room. I found it unprofessional and perplexing that they were so busy, especially since they were there to interview candidates.
Looks like they just take interview for formality.

I got interviewed at Qualys twice. At first it was for Lead Software Engineer. I cleared all the rounds but got rejected because of number of years of experience are not matching with the Lead role.
So recruiter requested me to appear for SSE role. Again all the rounds cleared even HR asked for previous employment details to proceed for the offer. Now the reason they are stating budget issue.
For the the second interview HM asked many biased questions to her knowledge about networking even though role was not for networking background.
Not a clear communication from recruiter.

The interview process consisted of three rounds:
Technical Round 1: Focused on C++ concepts, data structures and algorithms (DSA) basics, and Windows services.
Technical Round 2: Primarily problem-solving, where I was given three coding tasks (matrix diagonal elements, vector index-sum logic, and multithreading with even/odd printing using Windows functions).
Technical + Managerial Round: A deep dive into my previous projects, system design discussions, and scenario-based questions. The panel seemed positive and engaging during this round.
However, after the third round, despite following up multiple times via calls and emails, I never received any response.

Question 1
One standout question was:
How would you implement two threads to print even and odd numbers alternately using Windows functions?
This tested both my multithreading knowledge and ability to apply it in a practical coding scenario.
