I spoke with the recruiter and had two interviews after that. These were my first two interviews after years in a position, but I've been interviewing for other companies now and had some thoughts. Both interviewers were late (in one of them I had very little time to ask questions) and didn't seem to have a lot of familiarity with my work/experience. They must have a lot of candidates to interview, but it just stands in contrast to my subsequent experiences in which my interviewers were really enthusiastic and had clearly had taken some time to review my application.
The initial process was fast and communication was clear. The interview went smoothly, and they mentioned a potential next round. After a few weeks without follow-up, I reached out and was rejected.
