I was sent an e mail after about a week after applying via the web site to come to an interview. The actual interview was 45 minutes and I left feeling the company is completely self absorbed in its own current success. Some points: The hiring manager had spread his documents on the table in the room, and I got the impression I was just one of many that day being ushered into the room for their slot, rather than both walking into a room and sitting down in a more formal manner, or as in some other interviews, meeting in the hiring manager's office and perhaps together going to sit down for a face to face at another table. No attempt at all to put me at ease or ask about me.....it was all about Qlik. They were "economical with the truth" about the territory, comp plans, and performance of the specific territory relevant to the job, answering questions on current revenue at a high level. The feeling conveyed was "Just join anyway, take it or leave it, its complicated" - which I did not find very reasuring. The basic discussed was low for the market.
