First step was a virtual interview with three people on the customer care team upper level management, all very nice, during the interview at the end was asked if I can do a “ride along” interview and they scheduled it on the call. A few minutes later, they call me back to then ask if I can do also do a second interview with the construction managers in person. I conducted that interview and was told I’d then do the original planned ride along thereafter, this was a Friday, even though my original ride along was scheduled for Monday. I shared that information but was told again they were doing it that day, went to the location and was told nope, Monday. They told me great news though, you’re being invited to a final interview after the ride along with the VP of Construction. So Monday I do a ride along from 10AM to 4PM, where the person I shadowed told me that the turn over is extremely high and most people quit after only a few months, without many positive things to say. After essentially doing a non-paid orientation, I then went to the final interview at 5PM where I was drilled for the reason I left every role I’ve ever worked for. I followed up via phone the next day with whom would have been my reporting manager, to know when I should hear back by or if he’d received any feedback from the VP of Construction, and no return call. Called again a week later, completely ghosted. Honestly, the entire experience was unacceptable and unprofessional.
