I had a great initial call with the recruiter but the call with the hiring manager was a little awkward. I had to dial them back internationally because the hiring manager was unable to call me. At the end of the call the hiring manager said she'd get back to me on Monday. I got pretty excited when the day after the call the hiring manager called me but it turned out to be a mis-dial and when I said "Hello" rather than apologize she just hung up. Had to inquire the next Wednesday what the status of things were since I hadn't heard back and the initial recruiter informed me they were moving on with a more qualified candidate. Entirely dishonest as the position is still posted. Probably for the best. This place seems fairly dysfunctional.
