      Entretien

I got denied for a job offer so now I get to tell you the entire experience so that it can be useful to the next person. After you fill out the online application a recruiter contacts you and gives you a telephone interview. If you pass that they schedule you to come in for a test which has 3 parts and takes 1-2 hours depending on how fast you are. I finished mines in 1 hour and passed. The test consists of 3 parts 1 an audio test where your given a headset and audio is played by "customers" with different problems and you get to point and click to what the appropriate response to their problem is. After that part you move on to a microsoft outlook test where it asks you to flag emails, make notes, change labels etc. The last part is a writing part where you are given a certain amount of time to type a letter to an angry customer. After the test you will know whether you made it to the next round because they will interview you right there on the spot. Here's the problem. The interview is ok but they will deceive you in a sense. They will smile, make jokes have normal conversations outside of asking you the "interview questions" which may lead you to think that you are definately getting the job, or you've got the job in the palm of your hand especially if they say to you It was really a joy and a pleasure speaking with you. And if your really good they will then give you a second interview with the operations manager that same day. Which in our case as the unemployed is normally a good thing because you will think that you did such a good job that you get to meet the operations manager. The pay from what I was told is 13.00 hourly for this position. The health insurance they use is Aetna so if your not a fan of Aetna that may be a minus. The position is Mon-Fri 8-5pm Your benefits start 30 days after you start which is always a plus and you get 10 paid holidays/personal days etc. It really is a dream job for what it is but the downside is you leave thinking the interview went great and then you get an email telling you that your no longer being considered. The entire interview and tests took 3 hours. And they give you the tests first. Note To Prometric: Maybe you should start giving the interviews first so that you can determine if the candidate is right for the position and then have them take a test that takes at least 1 hour to complete. And don't look to get feedback from them on why you did not get the position because they definately will not answer you. I was upset for a little while but After reading the reviews that I found on them through the internet It looks like I dodged a big mess. So here's to Prometric
