I filled out an application and was asked to take an online assessment test a few days later. I was notified that I passed, and was then asked to schedule a phone interview with a recruiter. The phone interview followed the STAR format, but the recruiter was pretty cold and humorless. I thought I did well and was told that I would be contacted "within a few days" regarding the next steps. Well, an entire month went by and nobody bothered to contact me. At the very least, they could have sent a rejection email, but I didn't even get that. Overall, this was a negative experience. Companies shouldn't leave applicants twisting in the wind for weeks just because they can. Very unprofessional and left me with a bad impression of this company. Instead of endless television commercials -- that are pretty lame, by the way -- maybe Progressive should consider hiring some better recruiters.

So far the interview process started with an assessment about yourself and how you would fit into the role along with behavioral and situational style questions. On to the Video interview which is where I am currently at in the process.
