Many steps starting with applying online. You will then get an invitation to take an online assessment. Mine was in my email the next day. After assessment, which consists of reading graphs and determining trends, you hey an enail inviting you for a phone interview. My email was there hours after taking the assessment. You log back in and have several choices on the time of the interview, I had a choice between two different days as well. I clicked the day and time. Most were early morning to eat afternoon, EST.
You get a lengthy phone interview (Always STAR method). I was told at the end of that I would be contacted for to know if I got a face to face interview. I found out the next day. I interviewed at the end of the week, whatever worked woth my schedule. Was asked at least 10-12 STAR format questions. Before that was given a complete tour of the facility. After all said and done, the wait to know if I got the job was the complete 10 business days that they tell you. I was called and offered a position. They discuss payrate, and ask if ot is ok with you. I should have haggled just a bit because of education and experience, but I was okay with that rate at the time. My start date was almost a month off, this does not happen always, I just missed the start of the September training class and would be in the October class.

I applied online at Progressive Jobs. After applying I was prompted me to take an assessment. Fairly difficult but lots of common sense questions. received an email a few days later requesting a phone interview. I spoke with an exceptionally nice recruiter who asked about my work history, education, and why I left my last job. She also explained what the position and schedule would consist of as well as my salary expectations. She then went into 4 behavior based questions and she moved me to an onsite final interview for the following week. I studied very hard from questions posted on this site. Made sure I had lots of specific examples. The onsite interview was two hours long. You will check in with security and be issued a visitors badge. A manager will come and get you from the lobby and give you a brief tour of the building and then sits you in a conference room. Using the STAR technique you will answer about 10 behavior based questions. She also talked to me some more about the company, the position and training expectations. After an hour, you will interview with a second manager. She will ask another set of behavior based questions about 10 questions. I was very nervous. The questions were intense. Neither manager lets on how they feel about you or if you are getting the position. To be fair, Progressive warns when you first apply about the very intense and thorough hiring process. I received a call two days after my interview from the recruiter I originally spoke to and she offered me the job. I was very impressed with the process even though it was exhausting. Made getting the job offer that much more rewarding.
