The process starts with an HR recruiter that is very nice, then you have an interview with a project manager, then they send a technical assessment, then an interview with chief of operations and finally with CEO

Run, don't walk, to another company... This was a new low. I was scheduled for a second interview with the CRO and at my interview time he was running 5 mins late it seemed. Then, I got a call from the recruiter letting me know not only was he not going to make it, they were not moving forward with me as they are moving forward with other candidates from their external recruiters. While I do appreciate the phone call over an email, I am absolutely aghast that the CRO did not tell me himself. This was 5 minutes INTO MY "INTERVIEW." This is hands down one of the most unprofessional interview experiences I've ever had. My Advice: Have integrity, if you aren't moving forward with a candidate then have the decency to get on the meeting with them to explain and apologize, don't delegate it to your recruiter.
Advice to candidates - If this is how they treat their candidates, do your homework and find out how they treat their employees...
