I applied through a job portal, I was curious about price management space and was looking for a change. I was contacted by HR at pricefx. Had an initial interview with the HR person and an architect. Questions were mostly around my experience. Also, had a conversation with HR around my compensation expectations. My current salary was above their range but there was some option to push the range. The interview was casual and the people I spoke to were very pleasant. Following that I had a take home test, I had the option of doing that in Java or Groovy. I chose Groovy, even though I more experience with Java. I just liked the challenge of figuring out new things in Groovy. I turned in my completed homework in the next few days and was told that I did well. Next, I had a tech interview with the same architect. Again, was a pleasant experience and I believe I did really well. After a few days, I got an email from HR stating I was an exceptional candidate for the role of solutions architect but they ultimately chose to go with another candidate.

One of the best interview processes I went through. The recruiting team was quick to respond and very efficient in setting up the interviews. The interview teams were very respectful and asked questions that are relevant to the role. I went through four rounds that included a coding assignment which was fairly straight forward. Excellent company and friendly people.

5 stages. 1) An interview with a recruiter. 2) An interview with HR. 3) A tech screening with a Solutions Architect. 4) A take home technical challenge. 5) An on-site interview with 4 different people. The interview was both challenging and rewarding. It's a great team and the interviewers were top notch. The homework project thoroughly tested programming knowledge while not being overly complicated.
