      Entretien

      1. Recruiter Screening Call - Had a good conversation and the person seemed really nice and enthusiastic about the company. After following up, they let me know that I wasn't a fit for the position I had initially applied for, but encouraged me to apply for Sales Enablement Associate. 2. Hiring Manager Interview - This conversation also went well, the Hiring Manager seemed to like my writing examples and outright said I'd be a good fit with the team. They said that there would be two more steps in the process (interview with higher up, and then with the CEO), and after that I'd be hired. I felt really good about my chances after this interview Note: The first two felt less like formal interviews, and more like conversations. There was a lot of talk about cultural fit, and the HM even went so far as to mention a couple of people I'd be friends with in the company. This is why I felt good about the process up till this point. 3. Higher Up interview - This interview was definitely more of a formal interview. They asked me about my experience, and what my career goals were. The interviewer here was definitely less responsive than the last two, but told me to reach out to the HM the next day for next steps. After this interview there was a rather abrupt halt in communication. I reached out to the Hiring Manager twice, getting no response each time. After the second time I reached out, I promptly got an e-mail from the recruiter saying that they had decided to not move forward with my application. I asked the recruiter if there was any feedback for why I didn't get the position but received no response. I'm still not exactly sure what happened other than the fact that I was effectively ghosted. This certainly hasn't been the norm from my experience after getting this far into the interview process. If I wasn't moving forward, the HM or recruiter would call and/or email with their reasoning for why. This experience just left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Seems like a company with nice enough people, but poor communication with their prospective employees.

Thank you for your thoughtful, detailed review. It sounds like expectations were set and we understand that it's disappointing when they aren't met. We take this feedback seriously and will take time to reflect on our hiring process and candidate communications moving forward.
