I recently attended the first round of the interview process at Poshmark, and unfortunately, it did not meet the standards I expected from a company of such repute. The interviewer appeared to be significantly underqualified for the role, which was evident when they provided incorrect answers to the questions posed and seemed to expect the same from me as the interviewee. Additionally, there was a noticeable disconnect between the job description, the expectations communicated by HR, and the questions asked during the interview. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with how the process was conducted.

Which sampling method is used while creating train test split for Imbalanced Classification Problem?

Entretien
Step1: HR sends an assignment involving a prediction problem and an implementation of algorithm and answer a set of questions (in presentation format) based on the assignment. It takes 2-3 days to complete the assignment.
Step2: Hiring manager takes a 1-1 interview checks knowledge of machine learning , coding in python and SQL, some case studies
Step3: 4 back to back interviews with different people from other teams. majorly judge you on problem solving skills and SQL skills.
Step4: Small discussion with CDO
Interview process took 2.5 MONTHS to get a final yes or no. Ultimately after many follow ups with the HR, I was given “ Sorry, we cannot proceed with you further.”
A lot of time and energy went into the process, and I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO GO THROUGH THIS PROCESS.
