initial HR screen -> 3 day take home assessment -> 1 hr final loop the final loop.... was strange to say the least. instead of having the chance to present the assessment, the panel had a list of interview questions that they were reading off of. it.... could have been a lot more personable in my opinion. i didnt get the opportunity to present everything i setup in my work because the interviewers decided to run the interview based off the list of questions they had. on the other hand, it was clear that they hadn't looked at the work i submitted. some suggestions for the future: instead of reading off the list of questions, let someone present their work and ask specific questions on why they made certain decisions. interviews are always two way streets!
