HR interview followed by take-home assignment based on react and API integration. The assignment had many steps and was hard to understand in 2 hour limit let alone complete in 2 hour limit.

Call with HR, normal questions you would expect. I thought it went quite well with a promise of a follow up in a few days but only to get ghosted. Very unprofessional.
We apologize for the delay in response and any frustration this may have caused. At PolicyMe, we take every candidate's application seriously and we understand that prompt communication is crucial to providing an excellent experience.
We are currently experiencing a large number of candidates and as a startup with limited resources we are doing the best we can to manage the volume. We have identified some issues with our ATS that may have contributed to the delay in response and added another team member to the People & Culture team to help with the candidate experience. We are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible to ensure that all candidates receive the attention they deserve.
